PETRONAS Offshore Medical Examination is required by workers who intend to work in Malaysia upstream Oil & Gas industry. The medical examination can only be conducted by doctors certified by PETRONAS.
The medical examination will include the following:
The worker will receive a certificate of fitness valid for 2 years. Some workers may be given certificates of shorter duration if they have medical problems that need earlier review.
This medical examination is required by some companies before workers can be deployed to offshore workplaces around the world.
The OGUK medical must be done by approved doctors from the OGUK lists www.oilandgasuk.co.uk

Divers are required to do a medical examination to begin duty and subsequently at regular intervals.
