The final charges may differ from the published rates based on the doctors’ advice following the medical check-up.

The medical examination will include the following:

  • A comprehensive medical, social and occupational history
  • Appropriate Physical Examination
  • Blood Tests
  • Urinalysis
  • Urine Drug Test
  • Audiometry (hearing test)
  • Chest X-Ray
  • Further investigation eg: ECG maybe required to clarify clinical findings

The worker will receive a certificate of fitness valid for 2 years. Some workers may be given certificates of shorter duration if they have medical problems that need earlier review.
