OGUK Offshore Medical Check Up in Malaysia
Berkat Clinics offer OGUK offshore medical examination in Malaysia. This medical examination is required by some companies before workers can be deployed to offshore workplaces around the world.
The OGUK medical must be done by approved doctors from the OGUK lists.
What's included in our OGUK Offshore Medical Check Up?
The worker will receive an OGUK certificate of fitness valid for 2 years. Some workers may be given certificates of shorter duration if they have medical problems that need earlier review.
This medical examination will include:
- A comprehensive medical, social and occupational history
- Appropriate Physical Examination
- Audiometry (Hearing test)
- Urinalysis
- Resting Electrocardiogram ECG (>40 years old)
- Pulmonary Function Test (Spirometry)
- Further investigation (Maybe required to clarify clinical findings)
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Please bring along your:
- NRIC/Passport or any identification card issued by government.
- Guarantee Letter or insurance card, if applicable.
- Record of your past medical report (up to 3 years prior) or any existing medications.
Pre-screening preparations:
- Fasting for at least 6 to 8 hours is required prior to your appointment date. Plain water is allowed.
- Please continue taking your medications on the day of the examination except Diabetic medicine.
- The medical procedure will take about 1–3 hours.
- A locker is provided for you to keep your valuable items.
- Further investigations will depend on companies requirement.
